REASONS TO START WAKING UP EARLY AND HOW TO DEVELOP A HABIT OF DOING IT + MORNING PLAYLIST

For a long time i wanted to start waking up early but i never made myself to actually start doing it. Now, that i wake up at 7 o'clock almost every morning my days are way better. 

There are a lot of reasons to start setting your alarm and not hitting that snooze button so I'll share a few of mine in this post!


Instead of jumping out of bed when you realize that you are going to be late and rushing to get ready you can just set your alarm for a few hours earlier and don't hit that snooze button, you'll thank yourself. I love the feeling when i wake up a lot earlier and i know that i will do everything on time and that there won't be a need to rush.



I just love waking up when everyone is asleep, there are no kids crying, people yelling, noise that cars make, loud television. Early hours are so peaceful and you can think clear, read without being distracted, enjoy your time alone. 




If quietude doesn't seem like a good reason to set your alarm early, then the rise of the sun must sound appealing! This summer i woke up a few times really early, i think around 4:30 am and watched the sunrise on the beach. I fell in love with it  You won't regret a second spent waiting for sun to rise, trust me. 


I don't know about you but i get so motivated to do a lot of things during the day if i wake up earlier because i finish my basic obligations , like making my bed, eat etc., and i have a lot of free time. I got so much more done by doing it in the morning and i finish it faster! 





If you rise early you won't have to skip breakfast because you have no time for it. When I'm in the mood i like to make something more instead of just pouring my cereal in the bowl and mixing it with milk. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day after all!

And now we have a question how to waking up early becomes our habit. Keep reading to find out! ♥


It is important not to make drastic changes. Set your alarm at least 15 minutes earlier every day until you get to your goal time and you will slowly adjust to it. If you want to develop this habit you have to go to sleep earlier as well!  You will fall asleep faster if you read a book before bad instead of being on your phone, pc etc.. Reading a book before bed shuts down your mind slowly and prepares it for sleep. Falling asleep should take about 10-15 minutes.  

Put your phone/alarm clock far from your bed, because if it's close to you you will probably shut it off or hit snooze. Never hit snooze. If it's far from you then you'll have to get up from your bed, now, you just have to stay awake.

Go to the bathroom and splash your face with cold water and finish your morning routine. Then play some music which will wake your whole body up and make you dance. Make breakfast while listening to music, do morning yoga, go for a run etc, do something what won't waste extra time you got by waking up early. It is important to stretch in the morning.

  1. Moj problem je što ja bez problema isključim alarm i nastavim da spavam. Jutros (khm... jutros) sam ladno odbila poziv kurira koji je trebalo da mi donese pošiljku,misleći da je alarm 😂 Nego pametno ti je to za navijanje alarma 15 minuta ranije. Moraću da se civilizujem sad par dana pre mora, pošto mi se dopada ta ideja u vezi gledanja izlaska sunca 😂

  3. Super post,mada meni nista ne pomaze da ranije ustanem. Navijem ja alarm ranije,ali dzaba. Isto tako sam ostavljala telefon dalje of kreveta da bi ustala i kao se razbudila,medjutim ja ugasim alarm i vratim se u krevet. 😜

  7. Jako mi se sviđaju tvoje preporuke zašto je dobro ustati ranije. Ja cijeli život ustajjem jako rano i to mi je s vremenom postalo normalno, bez obzira i kada imam slobodan dan od 6 sati sam na nogama. JJednnostavno obožavam jutra, posebno ova ljetna.
